After going 3-5-2 in their last 10 heading into tonight’s road game at Buffalo, few fans want to bet on the Bruins. But that doesn’t mean you can’t bet against them.
The Boston Bruins Foundation has announced its annual “Casino Night” that from 5 to 9 p.m. will follow the Saturday, Jan. 14, matinee home game against the Philadelphia Flyers at Hotel Commonwealth (right next to the Kenmore Green Line MBTA station). Take the subway, but dress for the occasion (see below).
For $250, fans can get $1,000 in chips (no cash value) and “gamble” at the same tables with Bruins and Bruins alumni. For an extra $150 ($400 ticket), fans can attend a meet/greet/mingle party with players and former players before the gaming officially begins. All the proceeds benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation.

BOSTON BRUINS FOUNDATION TO HOST CASINO NIGHT ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 14 FOLLOWING THE BRUINS/FLYERS GAME
BOSTON, MA – The Boston Bruins Foundation will host their annual “Casino Night” featuring the current Bruins roster and Bruins alumni on Saturday, January 14 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Hotel Commonwealth (500 Commonwealth Avenue Boston, MA 02215). At “Casino Night” fans will have the opportunity to play at casino tables alongside their favorite current and former Bruins players.
Tickets can be purchased by visiting bostonbruins.com/casinonight. There are two ticket options available for Casino Night:
VIP tickets are $400 and include a pre-event meet and greet with the current players. Fans will have the opportunity to get their picture taken and mingle with their favorite Bruins players and alumni. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the event.
General Admission tickets are $250 and include access to the event and the opportunity to gamble at casino tables where Bruins players will be participating.
Each ticket includes $1,000 worth of chips for casino games, but do not hold any cash value. The event will include both a silent and a live auction including event tickets, gift certificates and more. Please note all attendees must be 21 years of age or older to attend. Cocktail attire is required for this event.
All proceeds from Casino Night will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation.
